Add a retail product

1. In the office panel go to Settings → Articles.

2. Click Add.

3. Fill in the form:

   • Name — the product name,
   • Category — pick an existing article category,
   • Barcode — used to find the product quickly at the sale screen,
   • Tax — the VAT rate,
   • Price gross.

   

4. Click Save.

Note

If no suitable category exists yet, create one first in Settings → Articles category (the form has a single Name field, and the name must be unique).

Note

Settings → Articles and Settings → Articles category are visible only to staff with the “Manage articles” permission.

Tip

Products are sold in the Sale view — an article is added to the order straight away, and you can adjust its price with Edit discount. See Sell a pass at the front desk.
